How it Works

Adoption

Screening Process

Step 1

Identify the name and description of the rescue cat or kitten you are interested in adopting.

Find Our cats on PetFinder

Step 2

Call our adoption hotline at
(716) 652-6051
to determine if you and our rescue cat are a good fit based on the known history of the cat and put in an application.

Step 3

Once verbal approval is provided to you, a volunteer will be reaching out directly to schedule a mutually agreeable time to meet at the adoption site to perform the adoption.

Rest assured that all Second Chance adoptable rescues are:

  • Tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV

  • Spay/Neutered

  • Micro-Chipped
