How it Works
Adoption
Screening Process
Step 1
Identify the name and description of the rescue cat or kitten you are interested in adopting.
Find Our cats on PetFinder
Step 2
Call our adoption hotline at
(716) 652-6051 to determine if you and our rescue cat are a good fit based on the known history of the cat and put in an application.
Step 3
Once verbal approval is provided to you, a volunteer will be reaching out directly to schedule a mutually agreeable time to meet at the adoption site to perform the adoption.
Rest assured that all Second Chance adoptable rescues are:

Post-Adoption Process
Pictures
We love sharing success stories with our community and request that all of our rescues be photographed with their new forever parents.
Checking In
Once you have taken your new family member home you will receive a communication from one of our volunteers to check in on how things
are going. Additionally, home visits
may take place to ensure everyone is settling in.
